Background

Lunah is a resilient, sweet girl who has already overcome so much. She spent much of her time since the beginning of June in the pound before finally getting the chance to leave and begin her next chapter.

Lunah came from a heartbreaking situation involving neglect and abuse. She was very nervous around people when she first arrived, understandably unsure of who she could trust. She also has permanent damage to one eye as a result of being struck with a rock by someone in her previous household.

Despite everything she has experienced, Lunah has shown incredible resilience. She is already a much happier and more confident dog than when she first arrived, and she is learning that people can be kind.

🐶 Description & Personality

Lunah is a sweet, gentle girl who is blossoming now that she is out of the pound. She can still be nervous with people at first, but with patience and reassurance, she is becoming more comfortable and showing her true personality.

She is friendly, affectionate, and eager to experience the good things life has to offer. Her progress has been wonderful to see, and she deserves a family willing to continue building her confidence at her own pace.

🐕 Dog Friendly

Lunah has done well with other dogs she has been around in the kennel and has appeared to enjoy canine companionship. However, she has experienced some challenges with a couple of her new foster siblings, so she may not immediately get along with every dog.

As always, slow, controlled, and appropriate introductions are recommended when introducing Lunah to new dogs. She will likely do best with thoughtful introductions, proper supervision, and time to adjust to new canine companions.

She has already made significant progress since leaving the pound, and her sweet personality is beginning to shine through.

Lunah is looking for a patient, loving home that understands that trust takes time. She would thrive with people who will allow her to decompress, respect her boundaries, and celebrate her progress.

A calm and stable environment with a family committed to positive, reward-based training would be ideal.

Lunah has been through more than any dog should have to endure, but she hasn't let her past define her. She is already showing how loving and resilient she can be now that she has been given a chance.

Her damaged eye is a reminder of what she survived, but it doesn't stop her from enjoying life. Lunah is ready for someone to show her that her future can be filled with safety, kindness, and love. ❤️
