Every dollar directly supports dogs in need — from the moment they are surrendered in Nunavut and other Canadian communities to the day they find their forever homes in British Columbia.

  • Safe transport from Nunavut and other Canadian communities to BC

  • Veterinary care and vaccinations

  • Spay/neuter surgeries and emergency medical treatment

  • Food, bedding, and essential supplies

  • Outreach, food, and veterinary support for dogs that remain in Nunavut and other communities when we're able to help

Snow Dog Rescue Society is a registered nonprofit organization based in Port Moody, BC.

Every donation is used responsibly and goes directly toward the care, transport, and well-being of the animals in our rescue.

Every monetary donation helps provide food, veterinary care, medications, transportation, supplies, and rehabilitation for the dogs in our care.

As we are entirely foster based, we do not have a physical location but if you have supplies to donate, please reach out to us and we will set up a pick up or drop off time & location!

Donations Needed: Help Us Stock Our Rescue Supply Rooms

Every dog that comes into our care has a different story, but they all need the same thing — love, safety, and the supplies to help them feel comfortable while they wait for their forever home.

We are looking for donations of gently used or new rescue supplies, including:

  • Blankets & towels

  • Dog beds & crates

  • Food bowls, Slow Feeders and water bowls

  • Toys & enrichment items

  • Cleaning supplies (Enzyme Cleaner, Paper Towels, Disinfectants, Waste bags)

  • Leashes, collars & harnesses

  • Puppy supplies (pads, food, toys, x-pens)

  • Unopened medical and grooming supplies

Your donations help us support dogs arriving from northern communities and provide our fosters with the essentials they need to care for them.

Every blanket, bowl, toy, and bag of food makes a difference. Thank you for helping us give these dogs the safe landing they deserve.
