Background

Asha came into our care after wandering into a northern Alberta community as a pregnant stray. She safely raised her puppies in foster care and is now ready to find a loving forever home of her own.

Description

Asha is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving girl with a calm, easygoing personality. She loves being with her people, soaking up belly rubs, cuddling, and spending time both relaxing at home and exploring outdoors. She enjoys playing with other dogs, loves the water, and has been an exceptional, patient mother to her puppies.

Watching Asha grow from a nervous, unsure stray into a happy, confident companion has been a joy. She has a beautiful, soulful nature and is sure to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.

Yes! Asha enjoys playing with other dogs and has a gentle, social nature.

Yes! Asha is very gentle with children and has been wonderful with the kids in her foster family's neighbourhood.

Asha walks beautifully on leash and naturally stays close by your side. She is calm, easy to handle, and enjoys going for walks.

🚻 House Trained

Yes. Asha has never had an accident in the house. She prefers to do her business in a quiet, private bush and is becoming more comfortable going while on leash.

🍖 Food & Training

Asha has been doing well with her chicken and rice kibble and continues to improve her appetite. She knows "sit," is food motivated, and is making great progress with her recall.

🚗 Vehicle Behaviour

Excellent. Asha travels very well in the car and enjoys sticking her face out the window during rides.

Asha has a calm, affectionate temperament and loves cuddling with her people. She enjoys belly rubs, playing with her family, and spending time in the water. She is an incredibly resilient dog who has blossomed into a confident, loving companion and is ready to find the forever family she deserves.
