Caramel

Background
Caramel and his siblings come from a very special start in life. Mama Muffin and her five puppies were surrendered by their previous owner, and a wonderful community member stepped up to whelp and foster the little family. During their time there, his foster’s family fell in love with one of the pups and adopted her. The rest of the litter then made their way to Edmonton, where an amazing foster has been caring for them as they grow, learn, and get ready for forever homes. Caramel has been thriving every step of the way!

Caramel is a bright, playful, and irresistibly charming Pomeranian Terrier mix puppy who’s ready to wiggle his way into a forever home! This little explorer LOVES squeaky toys, outdoor playtime, and chasing after tossed toys and sticks. He’s a total “smart cookie,” already trained on both puppy pads and outdoor potty routines.

He’s also a fantastic eater with a wide palate—veggies, fruit, crunchy toothbrush treats, and savory meat snacks are all on his favorites list. When he’s not snacking or playing, you’ll often find him peacefully snoozing in his bed or roaming the yard, taking in all the smells and stopping to admire the flowers.

When playtime winds down, Caramel becomes the sweetest cuddle bug. He’s brave, confident with other dogs, and always the first to try something new. He’s even mastered using an outdoor ramp thanks to a former resident pup—nothing slows this boy down!

Because he’s curious and still learning, Caramel does need a bit of supervision. He’s working on resisting the temptation to nibble on grass and sticks outside, and indoors he has a slightly pricey fascination with cell phone cords. With a few chew toys and some simple cord-hiding, he’ll be set up for success.
