Adoption Profile

Background
Bailey is a sweet husky mix who came into care after being surrendered following a life that was mostly outdoors with limited structure or formal training. She previously lived as a house dog but did not receive the activity, stimulation, or consistency she needed. She has been in care for approximately three months and is now transitioning into learning what a stable, enriched home life looks like.

Description
Bailey is a wiggly, affectionate, and people-loving girl with classic husky charm. She is playful, social, and very dog-oriented. Once she trusts her environment and handlers, she becomes affectionate and eager to engage. She is intelligent, active, and highly trainable with consistency. Bailey thrives on interaction, exercise, and companionship.

๐Ÿพ Dog Friendly
Very dog social. Bailey does well with other dogs and enjoys play. She has been living with multiple dogs and engages well in group settings, often enjoying long play sessions and social interaction.

๐Ÿฑ Cat Friendly / Prey Drive
Unknown with cats. As a husky mix, she may have a moderate to high prey drive. Slow, structured introductions would be required if living with cats or small animals.

๐Ÿ‘ง Kid Friendly
Likely good with children due to her gentle, friendly nature and love of people. She is energetic and may be exuberant, so respectful, dog-savvy children or supervised interactions are recommended.

๐Ÿฆฎ Leash Skills
Fair to developing. Bailey has not had extensive formal leash training but is intelligent and responsive. She can be strong and excited, especially when stimulated, but is eager to engage and learn.

๐Ÿšป House Trained
Previously lived as a house dog, so she has some experience with indoor living. However, consistency and routine will be important as she adjusts back into a structured home environment.

๐Ÿ– Food & Training
Motivated and smart. Bailey already knows basic commands and responds well to guidance. She is food-motivated and should be easy to train with positive reinforcement and consistency.

๐Ÿš— Vehicle Behaviour
Very good in the car. Bailey enjoys car rides and travels well, including with new people.
